When using a dark lip color try using this tip. Line your lips with a matching shade, and then use a cotton swab to apply a translucent powder around the edge of your mouth to keep the lipstick in place. Then, use the lipstick to work from the center of your mouth to the outer edges. Again, the trick to making it work is to keep your eyes and skin as minimalist as possible so the lip look does not feel weighed down. Try it with a swipe of mascara and a touch of highlighter on your cheeks is all you need when you have such a statement look!
